Program description:
RemindMe is a stand a lone program and contains no spyware or any other kind of "report back to the coder" coding.
Never forget birthdays, anniversaries, that tv program you want to watch, that appointment and things to do. Set your computer to remind you. This program will remind you of all the things you want to remember.
All you have to do is set the correct date you want to be reminded, enter your reminder subject, a time, if you want a timed reminder and save it. You can enter and save up to 100 reminders at a time. The reminders will pop-up on the day and time you set if time applies, and remind you.
The only requirement is that your computer is running. It's great and very easy to use. Remindme supports picture reminders. Great for birthdays, anniversaries and remember when's.
RemindMe can also be use for slide shows by entering picture reminders with all the same dates for all the pictures you would like to show and then just start the program and they will popup one after the other from start to finish. Could be used for meetings or fun. Remindme also has a calender for easy date look up.

How it works:
Note: If you check the "start minimized" check box, you may have found that if you click the desktop icon, the remindme program does not open. The reason being, the program is already open on the lower right tool bar.
To bring up the remindme program, just double click or right click the remindme icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
Has installer/uninstaller. RemindMe supports playing sound reminders using wav files you create.
To use sound reminders:
Enter a date (and time if applied), Fine and click the add sound button and select the file you would like to use as a reminder or click the record button and record and save a wav file for your reminder, then click the add sound button and select the file you just recorded for your reminder and save. Close the enter reminder window and minimize remindme. Remindme will play your wave file on the date or date and time you have set.
New in version 4.2, RemindMe is now easier then ever to use with the new date and time pickers that have been added. You now just select the date and time applied for your reminder. No more having to type in the date and time. Don't be fooled by all those other reminder programs out there. Some are huge in file size, 3 mb +. May contain spyware. RemindMe 4.2 is written in C++ and is highly optimized for speed and accuracy with the code size at 202kb. (If it's free, it more than likely has spyware in it).
